This Privacy Policy explains how Pettraces, operated by Nyeste Venture Technologies Pvt Ltd, collects, uses, stores, protects, and deletes information when you use the Pettraces website, Pettraces mobile application, Pet Parents Community, pet forum, product ordering, service booking, reminders, and related customer support services.

By using Pettraces, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information required to provide pet products, pet services, community features, reminders, support, and account management.

• Account information: username, name, email address, phone number, password in protected form, login details, and account status.
• Contact and address information: delivery address, service address, city, district, state, pincode, latitude, longitude, and saved location details.
• Pet profile information: pet name, pet type, breed, date of birth, gender, pet photos, vaccination history, deworming history, flea and tick treatment history, annual health check-up details, food or diet reminder details, and service history.
• Orders and service requests: cart items, product orders, cash-on-delivery checkout details, service booking details, enquiry details, order status, service status, completion history, and related notes.
• Community and forum content: Pet Parents Community membership details, forum posts, comments, replies, tags, uploaded images or attachments, scratch-card offer claims, coupon or reward history, and related activity.
• Device and app information: device identifiers, Firebase Cloud Messaging token, Firebase installation identifier, app version, device type, operating system, crash or diagnostic information, and app usage analytics where enabled.
• Communication information: emails, WhatsApp messages, support requests, notifications, and communication preferences.

2. How we use your information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• To create, authenticate, and manage your Pettraces account.
• To process product orders, checkout, delivery, returns, support, and service bookings.
• To save your address and pet details so forms can be auto-filled for future use.
• To provide Pet Parents Community features, pet forum posts, comments, pet profiles, and pet care history.
• To send service confirmations, order updates, reminders, password reset emails, support messages, and push notifications.
• To provide vaccination, deworming, flea and tick, annual health check-up, and diet reminder features.
• To show scratch-card offers, coupons, rewards, and offer history for eligible community members.
• To improve app performance, diagnose technical issues, prevent misuse, and keep the service secure.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, and regulatory requirements.

3. Location data

Pettraces may request approximate or precise location permission to help you save your address, select your service or delivery location on Google Maps, improve service booking accuracy, and support location-based delivery or service availability. You can deny location permission, but some address and service features may require manual entry.

4. Photos, uploads, and public community content

You may upload pet photos, forum post images, comment attachments, and other content. Content posted in the Pet Parents Community or pet forum may be visible to other joined community members and to Pettraces administrators. Please do not upload private, sensitive, unlawful, or third-party content unless you have permission to share it.

5. Push notifications and reminders

Pettraces uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications, including order updates, service status updates, admin announcements, pet care reminders, vaccination reminders, deworming reminders, flea and tick treatment reminders, annual health check-up reminders, diet reminders, and community-related alerts. You can manage notification permission from your device settings.

6. Third-party services

We use selected third-party services to operate Pettraces. These may include:

• Google Firebase: push notifications, analytics, app diagnostics, and app performance support.
• Google Maps Platform: address selection, map display, geocoding, and location-related features.
• Email and SMS/OTP providers: account messages, password reset, OTP, service confirmations, and support communications.
• WhatsApp: service enquiries and customer communication where you choose to contact or submit information through WhatsApp.
• Payment providers: if online payment features are added in the future, payment information may be processed by authorized payment partners. Pettraces does not store full card details.

These providers may process limited information required to deliver their services, subject to their own privacy and security practices.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only where necessary:

• With Pettraces administrators and authorized staff to manage orders, services, community, forum, offers, and support.
• With service providers, delivery partners, technical providers, email/SMS/notification providers, and support partners when required to provide the requested service.
• When required by law, regulation, court order, government request, fraud prevention, security, or protection of our legal rights.
• With other Pet Parents Community members only for content you choose to publish in community or forum areas.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, authentication, server-side validation, and secure handling practices. However, no website, app, database, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as required to provide Pettraces services, maintain your account, complete orders and service requests, provide pet care history, comply with legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and improve security. Forum/community content may remain visible until deleted, hidden, or removed by you or by Pettraces administrators according to our moderation practices.

10. Account deletion and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Pettraces account and associated profile data from inside the mobile app through Settings > Delete profile. You can also request account deletion from the public web page below:

For security, account deletion requires authentication using your username, email, or phone number with your password. After deletion, you will not be able to log in with that account. Some records may be retained where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory purposes.

11. Your choices and rights

• You can update your profile, address, and pet details in the app where edit options are available.
• You can disable location or notification permissions from your device settings.
• You can request deletion of your account using the in-app option or the public deletion page.
• You can contact us for privacy questions, data access, correction, or support requests.

12. Children and minors

Pettraces is intended for general pet owners and customers. Users who are minors should use Pettraces only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by applicable law.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, app features, legal requirements, or operational practices. The updated policy will be posted on this page with the latest updated date.
